Hotels in Helsingør

Helsingør (Elsinore) sits at the narrowest point of the Øresund, just a few kilometres across the water from Helsingborg in Sweden. Kronborg Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as Hamlet's castle from Shakespeare's play.

Right next to it are the Maritime Museum of Denmark, built down into an old dry dock, and the Culture Yard on the harbour.

The ferry to Helsingborg runs often, and direct trains run along the Øresund coast to Copenhagen.
