Østerbro is a calm, green neighbourhood with Fælledparken, the Parken stadium and wide streets lined with cafés and shops. Kastellet and the Little Mermaid at Langelinie are in its southern part.

To the north is the new waterfront district of Nordhavn, and the metro connects Østerbro to Indre By in a few minutes.
