Hotels in Odense

Odense is Denmark's third-largest city and the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. H.C. Andersens Hus tells the story of his life and fairy tales, and his childhood home is in the old town with its cobbled streets.

Odense Zoo lies on the Odense River, and Den Fynske Landsby is an open-air museum with old farms and houses from Funen.

The city is in the middle of Funen with direct trains to both Copenhagen and Jutland, which also makes Odense a good base for exploring the rest of the island.
